A HISTORY OF FRIENDSHIP
Designer homemade ice cream
In 1971, Vincenzo Carvutto opened his first ice cream parlour in Brescia, the Maracanà.
It was an immediate success, with his strong passion and ability to create new tastes gaining the approval of an increasingly broad customer base.
For him, these years were characterised by great enthusiasm, which led him to open more ice cream parlours, each one featuring an innovative setting like a breath of fresh air.
Vincenzo was the first to create an open workshop, where customers, who were increasingly more curious and attentive, could see for themselves the top quality products and fresh fruits that were used.
In a short time Vincenzo also became chairman of the provincial committee of ice cream parlours, and fulfilled his dream of opening a new ice cream parlour on Lake Garda, in Lazise (VR).
In coming up with his creations he enlisted the help of effective and trusted collaborators, including the young Cristiano Caporali, who worked at his side in the production workshop from the age of 14 years.
In January 2006, Cristiano Caporali met Nicola Nuozzi, who was married to Vincenzo’s daughter, and immediately formed an important friendship with him, which soon led to them opening the ice cream parlour on the lake.
“La Cremeria di Lazise” thus established: the beginning of a great adventure.
In 2007 they opened another parlour in Lazise, the second Cremeria, signalling the beginning of an ambitious development project supported by continuous investments in the quality of their artisanal ice cream.
Years went by, and in 2015 the Cremeria, on the strength of its success in Lazise, opened its third ice cream parlour in Peschiera del Garda (VR), a beautiful blend of homemade ice cream.
The focus is on genuine food now more than ever - forgetting that the roots of this trend run deep.
